Park & Recreation Specialist 2
This position will operate as a part of the Environmental Field Team. Duties include:
o Site visitation, survey, and reporting on environmental resources for capital & regional construction projects. o Recommend ecological best management practices and green solutions to project plans when appropriate. o Map making, data entry, related to rare, threatened, endangered, locally rare, and invasive species. o Independent surveying while collaborating and communicating as a part of a team. o Regular travel to project sites throughout the Finger Lakes, transportation provided from work office. o Work closely with Environmental Field Team, Capital, Regional Maintenance, and Trails Crew staff. o May perform additional duties as necessary. o This position will require the incumbent to work 50% in the office and 50% working in the field. Salary Range:
From $26.32 to $26.32 Hourly
Minimum Qualification
Two years of experience in maintenance, construction, landscaping, business operations, park operations, or in an organized recreation program.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
