Sous Chef

We are a busy restaurant in the heart of Trumansburg and have Immediate opening for an experienced Sous Chef.
Our Sous Chef is accountable for the overall success of the daily kitchen operation; exhibits culinary talents by personally performing tasks while leading the staff; responsibilities include overseeing the kitchen shift operations ensuring compliance with all F&B Policies, standards and procedures; Assists the Executive chef with all kitchen operations, preparing foods of all types on a regular basis and for daily specials, assists in development of new menu concepts, determines cost, portion, and the necessary timing of dishes prepared. Inspects and maintains cleanliness of the line floor and kitchen stations, abides by proper storage and state sanitation and health regulations, reviews inventory as needed. Promotes teamwork and quality service through daily communication with the F&B Manager and front of house staff.
Supervises and assign staff schedules, Recruit, train Coach and assist with staff development
Requirements include:
1+ years experience in the culinary, food and beverage or related
Professional
Competitive pay based on experience ranging from $27,000 - $40,000 a year.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
